Our Structure & Belief
We are a free church that welcomes you to come and worship with us. We offer warm and friendly fellowship to all.
The Fed.
We are affiliated to the Congregational Federation who bring together churches for their mutual support and advancement of the Christian faith. The Congregational Federation encourages the responsibility of the church members to manage the church business and exists to support and advise churches and individuals within them.
Independence
Within the Congregational Federation, each church is independent, and it is the congregation who decides on all issues relating to the operation of the church. We are served by professionally trained ministers appointed by the congregation. There are no hierarchies within the church and no elaborate rituals.
Membership
Anyone is welcome to come and worship here and become involved in our church activities. However, to become a member and become active in the administration of the church, a person makes a declaration of faith believing in the Holy Trinity and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
Fellowship
We believe that church fellowship is important, although we are many with differing gifts and talents, we are one body, the body of Christ. Through fellowship with mutual aid and support we are able to serve the community through mission. We are Christ's hands and feet commissioned to continue his work.
